farcry primal game
I was commissioned to copy carve consumer items to launch the video game 'farcry primal'. The game is set in mesolithic times and the brief was to recreate a 'man cave' or gaming room with artifacts carved from sandstone. These included a fizzy drinks can, pizza box and slices, table, flatscreen tv, games console and games controllers. They had to be as realistic as possible including logos and fine detail to link with the games organic and textural qualities. As a technical carver I enjoy immersing myself in the process creating the feel and presence of the real thing but not loosing sight of the craft element or the inate qualities of the material.
