Carving copy of a Gilbert Bayes statue.

I was given the task of re-carving two sculptures by Gilbert Bayes following their theft. Reference photos from 1920 were used to recreate the works and a clay 'maquette' was painstakingly sculpted for approval prior to carving. This took as long as carving the statue itself from Portland stone. The pieces now stand on the original plinths and were re-dedicated in November 2014.
