Manchester Town Hall- Albert memorial

Four guardian Angels sit at the  top of the Albert memorial Circa 1853.  The structure was nearly demolished in 1971 due to it being in a poor state of repair and remedial work was done to save it.  Two of the original Angel statues remained but were in too poor a condition to remain on site.  I carved the figures and commissioned a replacment brass trumpet.  The original statues will be placed in a museum.
