I really enjoyed sculpting this portrait as it was evident from meeting Ash that he was full of life and has a calm character. This made it easier to work with him and as I sculpted I found lots of unique features that expressed his big character. His pose was distinctive as he is slightly arthritic and has a particular way of sitting.
