Crowd of Witnesses

This curved sandstone wall is inscribed with a passage from the bible and forms part of a spiritual trail in the churchyard of St James’ in Didsbury, South Manchester.  The relief carving seeks to allude to the ‘crowd of witnesses’.  The figures on the rear are carved into the stone whilst those on the front appear to be emerging.
