Harry’s memorial

This piece of stone was selected from the quarry by the clients as a memorial for their son. The design process for this piece was a very close collaboration between myself and Harry’s parents.  Over time a set of symbols representing aspects of Harry’s life were distilled and perfected.   I followed the natural lines and layers of the material with the passages of script and carved symbols.  There are therefore no straight lines on this piece.
