Lions head

I took inspiration from classical carved lions to create a striking and somewhat moody piece.  Its final location is at times shaded in winter so it was necessary to carve deeply and create as much contrast between shadow and highlight as possible.

As part of the restoration of St Luke's Church in Crosby, Liverpool I re-carved two badly worn and damaged heads
