Mansfield memorial garden sculpture

Originally themed a ‘covid’ memorial to mark the end of lockdowns in 2021 this abstract standing stone was designed to be the centre piece of a new ‘memorial’ garden near the marketplace in Mansfield town centre.  As time passed the theme and designs turned to one of celebration as well as reflection as the town centre saw its residents return after lockdown and the community strenghthen again.  The obelisk is designed to serve as a point of focus as well as a meeting place.  Its soft lines are designed to be calm and the natural stone gives the visitor plently to study.
