I was sent a beautifully carved wooden ‘Mobius’ strip to copy as part of this memorial for an architect. The form is complex and yet disarmingly simple. The shape is actually made out of one single surface which twists upon itself to make up the entire form which is very hard to comprehend. It was a challenge to carve.
