‘Farcry’ video game publicity

I was commissioned to copy carve the contents of a ‘manacle’ for the launch of  ‘Farcry Primal’.  The game is set in mesolithic times where hunter gatherers fight for survival.  These recreations included a fizzy drinks can, pizza box and slices, table, flatscreen tv, games console and games controllers. They had to be as realistic as possible including logos and fine detail to link with the games organic and textural qualities. As a technical carver I enjoy immersing myself in the process creating the feel and presence of the real thing but not loosing sight of the craft element or the innate qualities of the material.

  • Material Catcastle grey gritstone
