Victorian inspired memorial

Sometimes clients have a very clear idea for the design of their memorial. In this case the inspiration came almost exclusively from the high Victorian style of memorial carving.  Cities like Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool with their industrial power and wealth saw a proliferation of these highly carved stones during the Nineteenth Century.  This stone depicts orchids, lilies, hummingbirds and draped fabric.
